I don't really care about multi-player if I end up ever getting it. The game looks hilarious. I love the satire and writing as well as the story which is from what I know from LCS serious, but riddled with humor. I Lol'd when Toni's ma hired a hitman on him.

I think I'm the only person (excluding those on these forums) that doesn't really care at all about killing people and destruction. I mean it mixes it up so that it's not all dialouge, just like a movie.

I honestly don't get it. You are allowed to play Manhunt, but not GTA? I mean Manhunt has some of the worst press (Free PR for R*), so why do you have it?

Good luck to all who are getting this game soon - I have been reading very good things, and hope that everyone has a blast!

Got my copy after we finally got through the line at my store. Sold 80 copies in an hour. Excited!

I'm going to go play now.

Got one, but this one is headed to my son's unit overseas. They made a special request. Also got the preorder special gamerpics for XboxLive. We'll see if those are anything interesting.

I'm not really interested in the game, I think the concept is stupid... playing a thug, what ever happened to playing the good guy like in RPGs?

I have read that alot of people both XBox users as well as PS3 players are having issues...
So much for the argument that consoles are 'bugless'... That's why I stand by PC Gaming... even given the non standard hardware across the board

The issues I've heard about were caused by improper packing of discs. IE: Physical damage.

And yeah, consoles have bugs. PC's just have one hell of a lot more of them.

The gamerpics use artwork from the box design. I like em, but there's only 4. Also, the game itself has a 1-month Xbox Live card, so you can extend your subscription for free. Pretty nice of them.

The preorder came with new gamerpics for 360, too.

Oh, and now that I finally got the game I wanted, I quit the game store.

I think that in the overwhelming majority of games you still play the good guy - or at least the 'conflicted semi-hero. So it is nice on occasion to play the 'bad guy'. But in my experience with the PSP versions, your character isn't all bad ...

Niko's not all bad, mostly it's his situation at this point. I've only seen snippets of about an hour of my younger son playing as of yet. (for the record for our newer members, my younger son is 19)

And we already have a funny story. My son picked up a girl to go on a date with, and when they got in the car he took off on a broad reach, crashing through everything like he was playing Need for Speed. She started freaking out, and then even when he started following the rules she backseat drove him all the way to the bowling alley. The look on his face was priceless.

I got mine from Best Buy this afternoon and they still had dozens of copies. I was kind of surprised.
