I know how hard it is waiting to hear back on the condition of a loved one in heart surgery. I really hope Andrew pulls through with no lasting damage. Good luck, Andrew. My thoughts will be with you.

I'm so sorry to hear about this :( I hope your husband will recover soon :)

Please let him that he at least has one allied in his quest from Denmark.
I, too, believe that computer&video games can be used for social enhances, to teach children something valuable in school. Many adventure games have a story and characters that can be used to teach children how to find out the why&how a person reacts the way he or she goes. RPGs can be used to teach children & teenagers that actions do, in fact, have consequences.

Your husband simply is the voice of reason in an age that seems to have gone quote mad about blaming videogames for nearly everything. I hope he is better soon, and is able to be the voice of reason & the inspiration for parents and teachers that I feel he is.

Greeting from Denmark

Well, I donated what little I could, via Paypal.

Hope you get well very soon.
Your words to me at PAX were very helpful.

And you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Wish I could have put more in the bucket. Keep up the good work. We need responsible parents out there on the side of the gamers.

Get well soon.

Hi everyone
This is Gamermom. Andrew is doing better, he is not having surgery again but it was discovered that he has a Pulmonary Embolism and will need to be on medication for this for about a year. He is stable but having some difficulty with breathing. He is the love of my life and I am so thankful that he is here with us. He is meant to do this and he is meant to be an advocate. I appreciate so very much all of your thoughts and prayers. We debated much about asking for donations but this will be a difficult time for us and we appreciate any assistance you can give to his cause. I love this man with all my heart and your generosity is a blessing. Thank you so very much.

GamerMom, it must have been an awful shock to you, I know I'd be beside myself if this happened to Hayd.

Please let Andrew know we are thinking of him, and I'm sending you a huge virtual hug, you must be exhausted keeping on top of everything yourself right now.

My dad believed in the same things that Andrew does. Some of the greatest times we ever had together were playing old Nintendo games together until the wee hours after he started getting sick. Of course we did that before he got sick too :D ....

Unfortunately, my dad died two years ago from an MCI in my arms. I sincerely hope that everything goes well for you and your entire family. I will be kicking more cash into the bucket once I get paid again.

Stay strong, get better and (Once all is well again) keep up the good work.

My thoughts are with you.
