But isn't Magnetica more like Zuma? (never got Magnetica) Doesn't it have a center based shooter rather than bottom? It *is* fun in small bits, but since my new job has gotten me back to being totally PDA dependent I see Bejeweled 2 as much better waste of time ;) .

Zuma ripped off Magnetica (aka Actionloop aka Puzz Loop aka Ballistic) pretty much wholesale. It was originally a 1998 arcade game.

PopCap have done fantastic things for casual gaming and the level of polish their games get is very high. It's just a shame for the original game designers when sometimes PopCap is over-credited :)
