This has been our most played game since we bought it in December.

Have you tried SingStar? (Worth buying for the microphones, they're great.)

I can't put my finger on it exactly, but despite the use of the real artists - there's something missing from the game compared to Konami's version. I actually have been holding my review because, for once, I really have no idea why I'm so thrilled by one game and "meh" about one so similar....

lol... we're freaks.

we have

Idol
Singstar
KR- Country
KR-1,2,3 (on their way ... ebay).

we also have Guitar Hero 2 which gets a significant amount of play time.

Singstar is great - we love the videos (friday I'm in love gets a LOT of attention).

KR - country wasn't as good as we'd hoped... but it has some solid tracks.

the thing that we hate the most is duets... we've yet to find a mode that will allow a player to sing ONLY the secondary part ...

my claims to fame tho...

MAX points on hard for "more than words"... think thats on Idol but I'm not sure.

9800 points on hard for "wind of change" - we both love that song.

I think we have Karaoke Revolution (like the first one or something).

We didn't play it much, but Singstar sounds intriguing enough to maybe try to get a copy.

Which version (of Singstar) should I get?

I believe only one has a US release Camper. The others are Japanese imports (am I wrong on that? I just never heard of Singstar until E3 last year).

Anyway, it has two microphones and is hard to miss in any game shop.
