Like playing the old Airfix Dogfighter game that came out a few yrs ago

A child can have loads of fun. Not necessary to have a great understanding of aerodynamics; if the plane has forward momentum, it'll fly.
Some of the missions can be a bit frustrating, but to leverage the frustration, the player can play the simpler missions, gaining powerups and money to buy the stuff he/she needs to beat the game.

Having a Guided Woodstock Missile makes it all worth it :D

I played the PC version

I got Snoopy vs the Red Baron a few weeks ago and my 7-yo was pretty into it. Then I got the Wii and all he plays is Rampage and Super Mario 64. Ah well, he'll come back to Snoopy sooner or later. :)
