Another great-sounding game, something I could see grabbing for our summer vacation. Thanks for another great one, Matt!

a REALLY good card game you should look out for is one called FLUXX...

It's a huge deck, and I found the one I bought at the mall I frequent, can't remember the store though.

It's fun because you can change the rules constantly, as kids so often do illegally :D

I admit Fluxx can be entertaining. In board gaming snob circles it has a poorer reputation as it could be compared with CandyLand or Chutes and Ladders in its lack of strategic decisions. (There are choices to be made, but, on the whole, the game is mostly out of your hands...)

My wife loves Fluxx, I'm not so much of a fan. The changing rules are great, and many times I find the game fun. However, about 1 in 6 or so games will have an odd gathering of rules pop up that cause the game to last for 1/2 hour or even an hour when it really should only be a 15-minute game...

For those who don't know, it is a card game where players try to get in their hand a matching set of cards (like "milk" and "Ice cream") to fit the current winning condition card ("Milkshake") which can also change. Rules cards change the number of cards player can play, the number they can hold in their hand, and the number they can draw.

The next stage in evolution of this game is "1000 white cards" where players all make up thier own cards from scratch and then try to play a game.
