I've now had the game for a week, based on Andrew's review. He was right on the money (as usual). My whole family, including the four year old, plays this game...and thanks to the Crash Party mode, we can all play together!
And yes, my four year old has won a Crash Party now and then...the game truly rewards unorthodox playing.
One thing Andrew didn't touch on is the easy driving model. My wife and kids normally abhor racing games...the only one they play is Mario Kart DD. While Burnout Revenge is a tad more involving than Mario Kart in terms of driving, it's still easy to pick up. Unlike driving sims, the game doesn't really use real driving models...the cars all drive like they're FWD, which means easy to drive, just not forgiving when you misjudge a turn...but artful crashing is the whole point, anyhow!
