Cary's handling our offbeat newsbeat. So far, Taiko drumming and Pac Man hats! Did I pick the right guy or what?

Thanks!

I can't do it alone, though. If you find a piece of news that you think should be on the front page of GamerDad, let me know and I'll try and get it there!

hmm, ok. =) but i'll just be ripping off other people.

someone called me, outraged, to find that Hillary Clinton is spearheading a $90 million project to investigate how someone could produce a game in which it is possible to have sex with a prostitute, then murder same to re-acquire the fee for service. this is unverified since i am up to my neck in making coca-cola.

I think our pal Steve Fulton may be interested in the bit of news I put up last night, especially since he kinda lives out there. --Cary

Cool story.
Cary, if it encourages you, your news is about 25 times more popular than the press release stuff I put up to make PR people happy. You're doing an excellent job!

Cary posting a news item featuring the Suicide Girls. I didn't think I'd ever see that.

It's an erotic "nude picture" site featuring Goth girls (piercings, tatoos). They're more arty than porny - which is how they figure into this story - and if my mom or wife is reading: I've only heard about this site -or- I know about it because I'm a journalist. Pick whichever one makes you feel better.

Really? Well I'm glad I took all the URLs out of that press release then! My friends have told me many times that I'm the opposite of Goth.

Maybe now Snoopy as the Flying Ace will be a secret character in SkyKid?

Or Charlie Brown's losing baseball team will be selectable in the newest Famista title.

hehe, masterful husbanding there. my tactic is to keep my wife ignorant of this web site.

meanwhile, stolen from David Jenkins at gamasutra.com: it seems like Bangladesh is mad at Sony for labeling that country as a terrorist state in SOCOM 3. i thought any nation outside western europe and north america was a terrorist state?
